Abstract
Dünyadaki yaşanan teknik, sosyal ve ekonomik gelişmelerin bir sonucu olarak ulaştırma sektörü de küreselleşerek sürekli gelişmektedir. Ulaştırma sektörü gelişirken sağladığı sosyo-ekonomik faydaların yanında birçok çevre sorununu da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu çalışmada ulaştırma türleri, taşımacılıktaki payları, yarattıkları çevre sorunlarından hava kirliliğinin iklim değişikliği ve küresel ısınmaya olumsuz etkileri ve ulaştırma türleri içinde havayolu taşımacılığının çevre üzerine olumsuz etkileri üzerinde bir değerlendirme yapılarak, küreselleşmenin bir sonucu olarak sınır tanımaz hale gelen havayolu taşımacılığının gelişirken çevreye daha fazla zarar vermemesi, çevresel ve ekonomik sürdürülebilirlik açısından havacılık sektöründen kaynaklanan çevre kirliliğinin en aza indirilebilmesi için alınması gereken önlemler üzerinde durulacaktır. Havayolu taşımacılık sistemindeki büyüme teknolojik olarak desteklenirse çevreye vereceği zararın azaltılacaktır. Ulaşımın ucuz ve çevre dostu olmasını sağlamak mümkündür.

Abstract
As a result of the technical, social and economic developments in the world, the transportation sector is constantly developing by globalization. While the transportation sector is developing, it brings many environmental problems meanwhile it provides socio-economic benefits. In this study, an evaluation was made on the types of transportation, their share in transportation sector, the negative effects of air pollution, which is one of the environmental problems they create, on climate change and global warming, and the negative effects of air transportation on the environment, among transportation types, and the development of air transportation, which has become borderless as a result of globalization, causes more harm to the environment. It will focus on the measures to be taken in order to minimize the environmental pollution caused by the aviation sector in terms of environmental and economic sustainability. If the growth in the air transport system is supported technologically, the damage to the environment will be reduced. It's up to us to ensure that transportation is cheap and environmentally friendly.
